BlueTex™ insulation EasyClips™ are designed for use with C-channel and Z purlins/girts in red iron type pre-engineered steel buildings. The clip slides onto the purlin and grips in place. Then you can push BlueTex™ through the bottom of the EasyClip™ (through the pin) and add the matching washer to hold everything in place. When you're done, simply snip the tip of the pin off and you're good to go! For additional reinforcement, you can screw the base of the EasyClip™ into your purlin with the ¾" screw provided (1 per EasyClip™ set).
We recommend you use 1 EasyClip™ every 24” on purlins spanning 5 ft (this amounts to 1 clip per 10 sq ft). So for every 1,000 sq ft of area, you will need about 100 of the EasyClips™.
BlueTex™ insulation EasyClips™ are made from industrial quality extruded white HDPE. They're flexible enough to slip onto your frame, but made to stay firmly in place once they're installed. We designed them in white to seamlessly blend in to your insulation.
