Our 6" vapor barrier tape is designed for patching and repairing old, torn insulation, joining seams, sealing edges and anywhere else you need a good vapor barrier adhesive. Our white vapor barrier sealing tape is pressure-activated and does require firm pressure to adhere well and can take 30+ days to fully cure to maximum adhesion. All vapor barrier tapes have an aggressive adhesive for all temperature ranges that won’t separate over time. It also works great for other applications like stucco and paint masking. It won't leave a sticky residue after removal.

Description

Our 6" vapor barrier tape is a superior tape, just like all BlueTex™ products. We spent time testing to get the best tape that would hold up no matter what. Peel it directly off the roll and stick it onto the clean seam to get superior hold. This tape has a bright white glossy finish and matches the white side of our insulation rolls and is also available in a 3" wide roll. To view our foil seam tape, click here.

BlueTex™ vapor barrier tape is constructed with a super-strong PET Film, so you can continue to have exceptional strength and durability just like you see in our other BlueTex™ products.

Size: Vapor barrier tape rolls are 6" wide by 180' long and sold individually, in a half pack of 4, a full case of 8 rolls, or in a contractor pack of 16 rolls.

Color: White gloss (matches our white products)

Backing: None - peel off the roll and stick.

Application Temperature Range: +45°F to +120°F (+7°C ~ +49°C)
Operating Temperature Range: +20°F ~ +200°F (-7°C ~ +93°C)
