Ordering too little
A second freight charge and project delays while you wait for restocking. Contractor schedules don't flex easily.
Ordering too much
Excess material, return shipping costs, and storage complications on site. Both outcomes cost more than the quote takes.
Getting the right quantity the first time protects your budget and your contractor's schedule. That's why we offer this at no cost to every customer.
The 4 Things We Need
Most of this can come from your building plans or a quick site visit. If you're not sure about something, send us what you have - we'll ask follow-up questions by phone or email.
Building Dimensions Total length, width, and sidewall height. Roof pitch if known. If you have a spec sheet or permit drawing, that works perfectly.
Purlin Spacing Roof purlin spacing is typically 48" or 60" on center. Wall Purlin (also called Girt) spacing is typically 7-8 ft bay spacing. If you don't have the spec sheet, photos of the framing work just as well.
Door and Obstruction Photos Skylights, ridge vents, openings, and any obstructions affect material planning. Photos from multiple angles are ideal - we account for every cut and overlap.
Floor Connection Method How the insulation will terminate at the base of the wall: TermBar to floor, turned-under, or other. A photo of the existing base detail helps if you're unsure.
What You Get Back
