      Planning your installation? Use this page to help you source all the supplies you need to help the install go efficiently and accurately. Below you'll find links for supplies for wood-framed building installs and metal-framed building installs. *As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

      For every installation you will at least need:

      BlueTex™ Insulation Pro (3mm): EPE foam product combined with reflective aluminum foil to REFLECT radiant heat and provide basic moisture prevention.

      Rolls are 4' x 125' long (500 sq ft) each.

      BlueTex™ Insulation Supreme (6mm): XPE foam combined with a bright white side for interior aesthetic and a 99% reflective aluminum foil to REFLECT radiant heat and provide MAXIMUM moisture prevention.

      Rolls are 4' x 75' long (300 sq ft) each.

      Matching FOIL tape (optional) - this is useful to clean up the install (covering fasteners, attaching edges, etc.)

      Foil Tape available in 2" wide or 3" wide rolls. Rolls are 150' long.

      Matching WHITE tape (optional) - this is useful to clean up the install (covering fasteners, attaching edges, etc.)

      White Tape available in 2" wide or 3" wide rolls. Rolls are 150' long.

        Metal-Framed Installation Supplies

        Screw Method (metal-framed buildings)

        Magnetic arm band (great for small jobs too!)
        Self-drilling screws (we recommend ¾" size): SILVER to match foil-facing insulation

        Pin Method Option 1: Self-sticking Pins (metal-framed buildings)

        Pins with adhesive backing (attaches directly to metal)

        Pin Length: available in 1-5/8" or 2-1/2 inches

        Base: 2" x 2" with attached adhesive 

        Self-locking metal washers (for use on pins)

        #8 self-drilling metal screws for permanently attaching self-adhesive pins to framing.

        Recommended length: 5/8"

        Pin Method Option 2: Glued/Perforated Pins (metal-framed buildings)

        Perforated pins (these pins have small holes in the base where your adhesive will bond the base to the metal surface in the building).

        Pin Length: available in 1-5/8" or 2-1/2 inches

        Self-locking metal washers (for use with pins)
        Boss Multi-Seal 180 (this is an adhesive rated for high temperatures). You should be able to glue 100-200 pins per tube of multi-seal adhesive.
        Styrofoam (or cardboard) for holding pins while you squeeze adhesive onto the perforated base of the pins.

        Plastic washers (compatible with screw sizes #6 & #8)

        Metal washers
