        Shish-Kebab Method: Glued/Perforated Pins (metal-framed buildings)

Perforated pins (these pins have small holes in the base where your adhesive will bond the base of the pin to the metal surface in the building) and locking metal washers to secure the insulation onto the pins.

Pin Length Recommendation: 1" to 1.5" long at minimum

We have these in limited supply. Call to order: 1-800-595-8772 or click the image on the left to find them on Amazon.

Boss Multi-Seal 180 (this is an adhesive rated for high temperatures). You should be able to glue 100-200 pins per tube of multi-seal adhesive.
Another adhesive recommendation from customers. Good for application in colder months. Click the image to buy.
Styrofoam (or cardboard) for holding pins while you squeeze adhesive onto the perforated base of the pins.

        Additional Insulation Installation Supplies

The HDPE furring strip spacers are great for use in NEW construction when you're wrapping the outside of the building to create the air gap between the foil surface of BlueTex™ and the metal skin.

The air gap allows the foil to work as a radiant barrier to reduce heat gain in the summer and heat loss in winter.

Double-Sided tape has a myriad of uses but particular to BlueTex™ installation, this can be used to attach the BlueTex™ to the outside of your frame without using fasteners.

You can also use the double-sided tape to attach the 2mm Pro BlueTex™ to your roll up garage door or residential panel style garage door.
