      Refund policy

      BlueTex™ Product Return Policy
      If the rolls are NEW and unopened*, we will accept them for return within 30 days of purchase. Clearance rolls are FINAL SALE and not eligible for refunds. For regular-priced items, our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

      If it has been less than 30 days, your order is eligible for return as long as it meets the following conditions:

       

      1) To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We do not accept returns of partial/used rolls.

      2) You (the customer) are responsible for the return shipping to send the rolls back to our warehouse. We offer “free shipping” to all of our customers, but it’s not actually free – we pay the cost of shipping to send our products to you. We absorb that cost so no customer has to make the decision to forego insulation because shipping costs are so high. However, because of this cost to us, any insulation return will automatically incur a $75/roll fee to recoup those costs (we call this a Shipping Recapture Fee). For garage door kits the SRF is $30/kit. HDPE Spacers have a $40/box SRF. Orders for just tape (no insulation ordered) are also subject to a return fee. This fee is deducted from the value of the return and the remaining balance will be refunded back to the original form of payment on the order.

      3) Returns must be shipped back in the ORIGINAL boxes/packaging that you received them in.

      The customer is responsible for any return shipping charges and ensuring the product is returned un-damaged. If an order is sent to a customer and then the customers chooses to refuse the order at the time of delivery, the return shipping fee incurred by us for the refusal delivery will be deducted from the final refund amount. This fee would be in addition to the return fee ($75/roll) for normal returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

      4) You must contact us PRIOR to returning an item. Please do not send your purchase back without contacting us first. We will check the dates and issue you an RMA number to return the product. 

      Refunds 
      Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection (and reason if applicable) of your refund. If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

      Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
      If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
      Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@BlueTexInsulation.com.

      Clearance items 
      Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately clearance items cannot be refunded.

      Exchanges (if applicable)
      We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@BlueTexInsulation.com to get further instructions.

      Shipping
      To return your product, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. See the information above for more details. If you refuse a shipment, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

      When returning our items, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item when it is being delivered by a third-party and it is your responsibility to make sure the items are returned to us.
